Pantone Color of the Year 2012

Pantone Color of the Year Pantone Color of the Year Pantone Color of the Year

Pantone recently announced the 2012 Pantone color of the year as Tangerine Tango.

A cross between an orange and a red – it was chosen as a color “to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward. “

This means that this is THE color you will see in fashion, home decor and design for the rest of the year.

Tips for the Home
Don’t go crazy. Use Tangerine Tango as a burst of color in accessories like pillows, curtains or a picture frame.

Fashion Tips
If you aren’t wild about the hue, try toning it down to a burnt orange. Or, like above, think accessories. A piece of jewelry, a belt, or a pair of shoes in a bright orange hue can make an outfit pop.
